Addiscombe Railway Park
Event 11th March 2012
We held our 6th park event on the 11th March 2012.
Work started at around 14:00 and continued until 17:00.
Weather conditions were dry and very warm for March with temperatures around 18 degrees, clear skies and sunshine for most of the afternoon.
Work included:
- Digging holes for the new trees and filling them with compost.
- Preparing the ground around the triangle area near the school exit, and composting the area. Large stones and tufts of grass were removed in order that the children will find it easier to dig and plant things there.
- Litter picking, and seeding an area near the water course. Our thanks to Janet for donating these.
Photographs of the event are provided below.
We are interested in your comments and suggestions regarding the park, please email us or use the contact / feedback form.
